Features and function
Arnica gel is product from Herbifit line of cosmetics with special purpose, and it is intended for massage of sports injuries and for refreshment of tired feet. Due to its carefully selected ingredients this product has a gentle effect on the skin.

Dosage and administration
Arnica gel is applied several times a day in a thin layer on the sore skin.

Composition
Arnica gel contains arnica extract, ethanol, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, imidazolidinyl urea and purified water.

Arnica extract
Arnica extract contains sesquiterpene lactone, mainly the helanalin and dihydrohelanalin and esters of these substances with acetic, isobutyric, methacrylic and other carboxylic acids. In Arnica extract we can also find diterpenes, flavonoids, alkaloids, pirolizidne, caffeic acid, and coumarin derivatives. Because of its active ingredients arnica is used in the treatment of bruises and sprains and certain inflammatory reactions caused by insect bites.
