A tea drink made from sage leaves is used in smaller quantities for various inflammations of the intestines, stomach, liver, bile and urinary tracts. It also acts as a sweat regulator.

Pour one tablespoon of sage leaves with about 200 ml of hot water, leave for 10 minutes in a covered container, stirring occasionally, then strain. The tea drink is always prepared fresh.
