Tea no. 5 Taheebo
Features and purpose:

Taheebo is the Indian name for the Tabebuia avellandae tree. The bark of a tree whose main active ingredient is lapahol (lapacholic acid) is used. The bark also contains tannins, essential oils, resins, saponins and anthraquinones. It acts as an antioxidant, strengthens the body’s defenses, and has an antimicrobial effect. It helps with bronchitis, herpes, viral warts, skin diseases (eczema, fungal infections), in states of exhaustion and stress, and for strengthening the body. Some attribute it to anti-tumor activity. In traditional medicine, it is used for anemia, diabetes, varicose veins, gastritis and against blood clotting. Adverse effects of using this tea are rare and occur in the form of skin allergic manifestations.
