It helps with bronchitis, herpes, viral warts, skin diseases (eczema, fungal infections), in states of exhaustion and stress, and for strengthening the body. Some attribute it to anti-tumor activity. In traditional medicine, it is used for anemia, diabetes, varicose veins, gastritis and against blood clotting.
