Medifit ULTRA drops with 10% propolis is dietetic product a dietary supplement intended for protection and recovery of mucous membranes of the mouth and throat. This product is used for treatment of cold and flu, and also in bacterial infections of the upper respiratory tract, sinusitis, in increased secretion of nasal mucous membranes, and as an immunostimuator.
Propolis
Propolis is a natural apian product. Propolis or bee glue is a resinous mixture that honey bees collect from tree buds, sap flows, or other botanical sources. It is used as a sealant for unwanted open spaces in the hive. Propolis is a product that has been subject in numerous studies and results shows that propolis have activity against bacteria, fungi and viruses, and also acts as an antioxidant, and has a local anesthetic activity. It is used to treat inflammatory processes in the mouth and throat, such as herpes, also in paradentosis and paradentopathy. This product is used to alleviate problems of the gastrointestinal tract such as gastritis and colitis. Propolis is used in the prevention of inflammatory conditions of the ear, throat, nose, mouth, upper respiratory tract, for raising resistance of the body. Propolis can be used as a defense against bacterial infections, before patients start with antibiotic therapy. The main cause of the cold and flue are viruses not bacteria that’s why is better to use propolis because it has an antiviral effect.
Composition
Medifit ULTRA drops with 10% propolis contains 10% of the propolis diluted in macrogol.
Dosage and administration
Medifit ULTRA drops with 10% propolis should be applied twice a day in a thin layer on the mucous membranes of the mouth using a cotton swab or spray on the mucous membrane using the spray. In cases of difficult and painful swallowing, which occurs in cases of inflamed tonsils it is recommended to use 5 to 10 drops of Medifit ULTRA drops with 10% propolis duluted in lukewarm water (100 ml) and applie to mucous membrane using spray.
