Dietetic product, food supplement with activated charchoal and fennel extract

Carbopil chewable tablets isa dietetic product, dietary supplement intended to relieve digestive problems with bloating, diarrhea and food poisoning. Carbopil improves digestion, relieves discomfort resulting from flatulence, diarrhea, food poisoning and reduce the feeling of heaviness in the stomach. This product contributes to better activity of the gastrointestinal tract.

Composition

The other ingredients are: saccharose, dextrose, microcrystalline cellulose, anise flavor agents, anti caking agent: silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.

Herbal charcoal (activated carbon)
French chemist Bertrand was one of the first scientists who recognized that the coal can be used as an antidote in poisoning. To prove his theory he drank a mixture of arsenic and coal and he has not died. However, he used a coal, which has not been active. Activated charcoal is discovered later, in the 20th century and this coal has 300 times more potent as an antidote in poisoning. On the other hand, in America the activated charcoal was used to treat digestive disorders. Herbal charcoal adsorbs (binds) harmful substances due to the complex structure that occurs during activation of ordinary coal. The particles of activated charcoal look like bee sac, so when passing through the digestive tract, it bind harmful substances by weak intermolecular forces and form a complex coal – harmful substance. This complex is too big to pass the intestinal mucosus membrane and therefore this complex is excreted from the body by faeces.

Fennel
The fennel extract improves bowel and contributes to the elimination of toxins and gases from the body. Fennel contains 2-7% essential oils and about 10% of volatile oil. German Commission E has approved the use of fennel in the treatment of dyspeptic symptoms souch as bloating, abdominal pain, nausea and heartburn.

Dosage and administration
Patients with flatulence should chew 1 or 2 tablets after meal. If the patients are poisoned or if they having diarrhea, recommended dosage for adults is 3 to 4 tablets per day. For hildren aged 3 and more recommended dose is 1 tablet a day. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.This product si not recommended for children below 3 years. Carbopil is not recommended more than 4 tablets per day. Herbal charcoal (activated carbon) reduce the impact of other dietary supplements and drugs, and therefore should not be used at the same time. A dietary supplement can not replace a balanced diet. The product should not be used with milk. The product should not be used by people who are sensitive to any substance of Carbopil tablets. Carbopil tablets contains saccharose. In case of hypersensitivity stop the application.
