Dietetic product, food supplement with vitamin C

Biovit C 500 isa dietetic product, dietary supplement and complement of vitamin C. Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is biologically important substance that the human body can not produce, and must be taken with food that contains vitamin C. In the human body ascorbic acid participates in the important biochemical processes such as collagen synthesis, the conversion of dopamine into adrenaline, as well as in the process of synthesis of serotonin. Vitamin C plays an important role in protecting the organism because it has a very strong antioxidant properties, and also enhances iron absorption in the small intestine. Ascorbic acid affects the metabolism of carbohydrates, steroids and some amino acids. The increased need for vitamin C occurs in conditions such as illness, after the treatment of other drugs, after surgery, when the body is under stress and when immune system is suppressed.

Composition
One Biovit C 500 tablets contains:

Ancillary components: microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin, magnesium stearate, polymers for  coating (K - COAR MB, AF - COAT F) with colors: red E123, E102 and white yellow E171.

Dosage and administration
Patients should take Biovit C 500 tablets once a day one tablet with a meal.

Special warnings
Biovit C 500 tablets should not use people who are sensitive to product components. Vitamin C can cause increased absorption of iron. Caution is required in patients with renal impairment and in patients receiving anticoagulant therapy. Daily dose for pregnant women and nursing mothers is determined by a doctor. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
