A Pharmagyn vaginal suppository belongs to the groupof cosmeticswith special purpose and its intended for protection from HVP, fungal and bacterial infections. This product contains different chemotyped essential oils which combined express antimicrobial effect. Due to the specific composition pharmagyn vaginal suppositories (vaginal suppositories) are used in inflammatory processes caused by bacterial, viral and fungal infections. This product is intended primarily for treating infections caused by HPV and vaginal candidiasis.
Ravensara oil (Cinnamomum camphora (L.) J Presl., Lauraceae)
Ravensara is one of the most potent antiviral essential oils. It contains oxide 1,8–cineol and monoterpenic alcohol α–terpineol. In small quantities it contains compounds such as sesquiterpenes β–kariofilen and esters of terphenylacetate. Ravensara is used for treatment of influenza, viral hepatitis, herpes infections and infectious mononucleosis. This isoneof the safestskin-tolerant oil.
Niaouli oil (Melaleuca quinquenervia (Cav.) S.T. Blake, Myrtace)
As many other plants from this order, Niaouli has been used for centuries as medicine for treatmnet different infections. The leaves of this plant contain the highest concentration of essential oil. There are three mainchemotypes: chemotyp 1,8–cineol/viridiflorol, chemotyp trans–nerolidol and chemotyp linalol. The most important chemotyp is 1,8–cineol/viridiflorol which is main ingredient of Niauoli oil used in Pharmagyn vaginal suppositories. Due to the content of monoterphenols this essential oil is effective against bacteria and fungus. It has a strong antiviral effect. It also affect HIV virus. It is indicated for variousinfectious diseases such as otitis media, herpes virus infections, human papillomavirus and infectious heart disease.
Tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia (Maiden & Betche) Cheel, Myrtaceae)
Tea tree essential oil is a powerful antivirotic and anti–biotic (fungicide and bacteridice). It is indicated for respiratory infections, infectious enteritis and colitis, urogenital infections, fungal skin infections, pimples and preventionof skindamagedue toradiation therapy.
Alexandrian laurel or beauty leaf (Calophyllum inophyllum L. Clusiaceae)
This plant contains green oil that predominantly contains oleic acid (35 %) and linoleic acid (45 %). This oil is indispensable for all skin inflammations. This oil is irreplaceable in all inflammatory processes of the skin and it has an antiviral effect and it’s used for treating infections caused by HVP and vaginal candidiasis.
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum J. Presl(C. zeylanicum Ness) Lauraceae)
Chemotyped essential oil is obtained from cinnamon leaves by destilation. It contains 85% of phenols eugenol, 7% of aromatic alcohol cinnamol, β–caryophyllene, benzyl benzoate and small amount of other substances. This essential oil is used for treating infections caused by HVP, and vaginal candidiasis by producing immunoglobulin A that protects mucous membranes.
Composition
One vaginal suppository contains 1,6% CEO Ravensara oil, 1,6% CEO Tea tree oil, 1,6% Niaouli oil ct. cineol, 0,6% Ceo Eucalyptus polybractea ct. kripton, 0,3% CEO Cinnamon oil and 12,8% Beauty lef oil. Other ingredients are: hydrogenated coco –glycerides, tocopheryl acetate.

Dosage and administration
Pharmagyn vaginal suppositories are administered vaginally once a day for inflammatory processes caused by bacterial, fungal or virus infections. This product is predominantly used for treatment of infections caused by HVP and vaginal candidiasis.
